We will continue to monitor the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, actively following guidance and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) while taking action to keep our customers, our employees, and our communities safe.

In addition to CDC-recommended cleaning standards, our in-home staff has been provided CDC guidelines about the importance of proper handwashing techniques, best practices in virus prevention, including the need to cover coughs and sneezes, and most importantly staying home at the first sign of any flu-like symptoms. We have also distributed additional personal protective equipment and the ability to sanitize equipment between customer appointments.

We will continue to monitor developments, adjust where necessary, and do our part to reduce the spread of this virus. Providing a safe and positive experience is very important to us. We know many of you are working from home and self-quarantining. When a house is filled with people, it can put added stress on your heating & cooling system and even cause serious comfort problems.
IMS is ready to help with service anytime you need us. We’re still operating under our normal hours of operation: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We’re carefully monitoring the COVID-19 situation and strictly following CDC guidelines to minimize the spread of the COVID-19 virus and protect our customers and employees in every community we serve.

Traditional In-Home 

Gathering all information and will be presenting in-person the solutions for home comfort systems. In-home visits are usually over 90 minutes.

We will wear masks, shoe coverings, gloves. We will be cleaning tools and equipment through out the appointment.

Low Contact in-home

Gather all information and then preparing solutions for home comfort to be presented later that day virtually. In-home visits are usually less than 45 minutes.

Our Heating & Cooling Techs and Advisor Teams are Essential Service Providers

All IMS Heating & Air team members who visit your home or business will adhere to our high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene before, during, and after every service visit.

In order to ensure maximum effectiveness, we’ve instructed our service technicians to uphold and enhance our already strict cleaning and disinfecting measures to ensure the safest possible work environment. Additionally, we’re following CDC (Centers for Disease Control) guidelines designed to stop the spread of the virus, including:

  • Eliminating physical contact, including handshakes. We’ll use only non-contact methods of greeting
  • Maintaining effective social distancing when possible
  • Washing hands thoroughly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds at every opportunity
  • Using hand sanitizer & soap
  • Using disinfectant products to ensure touchpoints are clean in workspaces, vehicles, and on equipment
  • Shared-use devices such as tablets will be sanitized repeatedly; customers should consider using their own pens to sign paperwork
  • Wearing personal protective equipment

Customer Service

Our customer service department is fully staffed to assist you with scheduling service calls, answering questions and meeting all your needs. We have implemented the following additional precautions to ensure a safe experience and excellent service.
Our customer service representatives and service technicians will ask if anyone in the structure is symptomatic of the illness.

We’ll honor special requests from customers seeking to maintain a safe distance from our service technicians.
